The Kidz summer reading challenge is back!
For those individuals and families who signed up last year, just pick up a reading record sheet in the church library. If you are new this year, fill out a sign-up sheet and return it to the envelope outside the library door.
You can choose any books at your reading or interest level. Parents of family members can help pick out books and read to those who cannot yet read for themselves. Sign out your books using the card in the back of the book. As books are read, complete the reading report sheet and return it to the library by August 30th.
Books have labels BOARD (pre-kindergarten), E (easy reading), JR (junior), and YA (young adult).
Labels with F indicate fiction. Labels with B indicate Biography.
Here are some fun easy-reading books featuring animals.
They are in a basket labeled "Good news for little hearts":
Buster's ears trip him up
Buster tries to bail
Caspian crashes the party
Gus loses his grip
Halle takes a stand
Jax's tail twitches
Sadie finds her voice
Tomas looks up and out
Zoe's hiding place

You are welcome to stop in to the church library any time after Worship or during office hours during the week. The shelves are marked with labels to help identify topics.
Checkout is self-service-- by signing your name and date to the card in the book and leaving the card in the library. For reference and circulation services, a library team member is in the library on Thursdays from 10:30 AM -12:00 PM, and at other times as scheduled.
Library materials are loaned for one month at a time and may be renewed.
Returns may be taken back to the library and placed in the plastic cabinet drawer marked for returns.
